3Drops were having a wine tasting of their new release wines, in particular the Rosé at Lot 20 on Saturday afternoon, so of course that was a perfect excuse to for me to shut my little fashion boutique in Guildford, jump on the train and have a late lunch and a few drinks with great company.
We started with a glass of 3Drops Rosé and it seemed like the perfect photo accompaniment with my @winesandbooks picture.
The Rosé is a very pretty pale salmon pink in colour, strawberries aromas and an elegant crisp and dry finish.
My partner in wine suggested I try Lot 20’s Dutch fries, slathered in peanut satay, mayonnaise and topped with red onion. They were delicious and very moreish.
We also ordered the cauliflower and cheese croquettes with house made tomato sauce. These were crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside, the tomato sauce was slightly spicy, adding to the enjoyment of the snack.
A perfect sunny afternoon spent over a couple of glasses of quality wine, tasty snacks and great venue.
